Closeup of a Black Dog

Sample dialogue barks for NPCS. Nothing too fancy, I just wanted to show how various NPCS might talk in a fantasy RPG! It was a fun project, one that I had to wrap my head around before I really nailed it! I wanted to show normal people and guards talking, and how they would react to dangerous events!

A three page sample for an 'intro' cutscene. I originally made this for as a sample for Yotta Games, but it didn't make the cut. I was inspired by Castlevania (2017)'s question about what is power? Is it a boon, or a bane? And what does power mean to those without it? I tried to answer this question, and frame it in a way that introduces a fantasy world setting!

A short sample describing skills and equipment for various kinds of genres and games, with a focus on RPG elements. I made this because I wanted to showcase how info could be displayed to both a player, and the developer!

A short branching conversation in my world of Urn! Using a format I got from Loveverse, this is meant to showcase a quick dialogue tree!

A motion comic I wrote for the Myth of Sanshu! A Open World RPG that is still in development!  I wrote the script, mainly to showcase a new and oncoming threat!

A examination of Arcane's Vi, her actions, and the consequences thereof. I made this so I could show that I could understand a character that someone else has made, and Arcane was really good! With this is mind, I wanted to understand how Vi and violence were so intertwined, and my essay came from trying to connect the two. It was an interesting experience, so please give it a read if possible!

When a broken girl has to attend a party to secure a husband, and thus an heir, for her father, she learns that some things can never be fixed. A short story I wrote dealing with pressure and what happens when the world rejects what you are. Made to showcase how asexual people struggle from pressure to form relationships.

A Young Man with a Notebook

A small Miro Board in which I go over the steps I use when designing both characters and dialogue. I made this to showcase my thought process, and communicate it to other developers! In addition, you can find my thought process for Red Forest in the second link!
